Community Outreach

We’re not just business owners in this area. This is where we live, where our friends live, where we’ve chosen to raise our children. This is the place we call home — which is why we’re committed to serving this community in meaningful ways.
Encouraging Careers in Medicine
To encourage and educate high school students considering careers in medicine, we’ve created a program that allows them to “Shadow a Surgeon” for a day, experiencing first-hand all the triumphs and challenges that life in the operating room presents on a daily basis. For more information, contact Gina Espenschied at 610-358-6093.
We are also a site for the Delaware County Technical Schools Medical Careers Program, a daily two-hour program for honor students pursuing medical careers. Not only does this program allow students to observe multiple specialties and consider their areas of interest, but it also elevates their college applications. For more information, contact Rosemary Barakat at 610-583-7620.
Educating the Community
Educating the community on health issues not only helps in preventing illness and injury, but in early detection and treatment, as well. Check out our schedule of lectures, which are always free to the community, and watch for new events to be added.
Promoting Healthy Lifestyles for Kids
We know that active kids are healthier kids. We are proud to sponsor the Brandywine Youth Club in Concordville, PA and the Good Kids Campaign for the Brandywine Valley YMCA
